As all the spoken languages in the world, one of the most difficult subject to study and to put it in our brain is the foreing expressions, the native sentences and also the popular sayings.In english there are plenty of them !!
Below I´m going to try putting some of them:

2 - I laughed my butt off - eu ri demais
3 - I´ll eat my hat - Quero que um raio caia sobre minha cabeça
4 - To be in a hot water - estar em maus lençóis
5 - I get on well with... - eu me dou bem com...
